Watery Wednesday: Bull's Bridge/Appalachian Trail

We were hiking on the Bull's Bridge portion of the Appalachian Trail in Northwestern Connecticut. It was our first hike as a family and we did get a little turned around. The scenery, however, was stunning. To see more watery posts, please visit http://waterwednesday.blogspot.com.

Tis the season for hiking while the weather doesn't really get too hot and humid.

My entry is here, http://ewok1993.wordpress.com.

I bet the trail is beautiful in Connecticut. I've only hiked it in Maine in New Hampshire...and it's fabulous there!

Spring hikes are so enjoyable. I'll bet you saw a lot of birds, too.

Looks like a very beautiful river through those rusty handrails of the bridge. I bet it was a bit hard going but very interesting at the same time and this season when nature wakes up is just so wonderful to go out and explore.
