Once you climb the trails to the top of Kent Falls, the scene changes. There is peace and quiet, the trails widen. The water is placid and lazy. Peace of mind. Lovely.

So pretty. The second pic depicts peaceful surroundings.
Beautiful. You've featured this area a few times for Watery Wednesday, which is great, because now I definitely know of one place I'd want to go if I ever visited Connecticut.
up high in the hills a mountain trail where the river is not deep. the wildlife is around everywhere. a very nice place where you can camp or build your own log cabin.
I am a forty-something finding herself with a little more "me" time now that the kids are older. I've been a frustrated college student for years and have yet to earn that bachelor's! I love to walk or run, I love the water but hate swimming. One of these days i'd like to work up the skill and the courage to complete a triatholon as well as run a marathon. My family is my source of pride, my children my true joy. My husband is my rock--he inspires me beyond belief and I love him beyond measure. He is my true soul-mate and my best friend.

Beautiful scenery. I want to go wading now.
It looks like a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sounds of the soft water moving - maybe read a book and dangle your feet.
That looks like a wonderful place to sit and think! Great shots!
