This is all that remains at the side of the road after a very long, very cold winter in Connecticut (USA). Some call it ugly and dirty. I call it hope. To see more, please visit showyourworld.blogspot.com
I am a forty-something finding herself with a little more "me" time now that the kids are older. I've been a frustrated college student for years and have yet to earn that bachelor's! I love to walk or run, I love the water but hate swimming. One of these days i'd like to work up the skill and the courage to complete a triatholon as well as run a marathon. My family is my source of pride, my children my true joy. My husband is my rock--he inspires me beyond belief and I love him beyond measure. He is my true soul-mate and my best friend.

Hope, indeed...spring will surely be here soon! Lovely photograph...
That's my daily hope -- spring! soon! Great photo!
We have much the same in Michigan, and are uncovering lost trash as the snow recedes. I like your way of thinking about it much better.
