We have had a very long winter here in Connecticut! Snow fell early and stayed on the ground for most of the season, which is somewhat unusual. I felt the need to go out and take pictures of the early spring flowers, these were taken yesterday, April 26.

We too are in the middle of the spring bloom ... but of course its also wildfire season here. They are a bloom all their own.

we are already past that stage...things are green and it's been in the upper 80s and low 90s now for several days. i surely hope summer is not a long, hot one.
