The photo above is Meg's closeup of the fountain at the WWII monument. I found the scope of this monument overwhelming. It is large and all of the components from the fountain, to the states listed to the quotes inscribed are very beautiful and very moving. There were several vets on site having their picture taken. The lower picture is the Washington Monument as seen from the reflecting pool from the Lincoln Memorial end.

i love the fountains and the monument pictures.
The reflection of that monument is fabulous but my favourite is the first one. I like the study of that cascading water and the symmetry is marvellous.
The WWII monument is a lot to take in. I really like what you have here.
