My World Tuesday: A New England Scene

One of my favorite and most familiar scenes, living in Connecticut, is that of fallen logs and stone walls. It is comforting and soothing to me.

Makes me very aware of how much the landscape has changed in the past week or two with the warmth and the intense sunshine. Lovely, Laurie.

Is that wood for your fireplace? Bet you're glad warmer weather is on the way.

Stone walls are the best ... and what's the saying (poem) about them making good neighbors. Fallen trees and stocked cord wood makes warm neighbors!

Yup, "Good fences make good neighbors." That was the first thing I though of when I saw this. The poem is Mending Wall by Robert Frost.
