Skywatch Friday: Break of Day at NFHS

I drove my daughter to school this morning, which I avoid like the plague. The moon was still high in the sky as the sun was preparing to rise at 7:05. I couldn't help but park the car and take advantage of the lovely purple sky.

that moon shot is simply beautiful. it appears to have been waiting for someone to take its picture before calling it a day eh?

I've taken some of my best shots when driving my daughter to school. There ought to be some compensation for getting up and out of the house that early. :) Great shots! Happy SWF.

Lovely view of the full moon and at the same time a gorgeous sunrise. I bet it made you feel a bit better about the driving.

Beautiful photos. I love that cloud in the bottom two pictures that looks like it's flying upwards.

The sky is indeed a beautiful hue. I often leave for work at 5 Am... and I just adore these colors!
